“Some will stay in Poland, others will be redirected to France, Italy, Germany, the United States, Canada. I am happy that our agreement with Mrs Macron has allowed us to bring in young patients from France”said Olena Zelenska, grateful to receive such an outpouring of solidarity from the international community.

A “convoy of life” which allowed twenty Ukrainian children suffering from cancer and leukemia, accompanied by their parents fleeing the war, to be treated in France, a first in France. This Monday, March 21, 2022, the latter therefore arrived on French soil where they were welcomed by the Minister of Health Olivier Véran, the first lady Brigitte Macron and the Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne.
