Shis husband, Olivier Lepick, mayor of Carnac (Morbihan), is accused of having let 39 menhirs be destroyed to build a DIY store in his town. Since the beginning of this affair, the mayor and his family have been taken to task: “Because I am ‘the wife of’, I receive hate messages, because my children are ‘the children of’ they receive hate messages”laments Gwenaelle Lepick.
She explains that one of her children “is very angry, does not understand (…) the extremely harsh and cruel words when talking about her dad and she finds it so unfair”. This mother therefore shares her concern about “this endlessly poured out hatred”. “It raises a lot of questions about the society in which we live”adds Gwenaelle Lepick.
