the wicker basket signed Polène Paris seen in the series “Emily in Paris”

It’s #wanted time! Through this small weekly meeting, the fashion & beauty editorial staff share their favorites of the moment. Trendy gadgets, a new it-bag that’s creating a buzz, a pair of shoes that we love or accessories that we’d love to acquire to adorn our wardrobes… we take you on a discovery of the must-haves to adopt urgently.

The favorite of the day is signed Polène Paris. If the famous French brand has been creating masterpieces of leather goods for a few years and you certainly have some iconic models in your wardrobe, today it is the “Emily in Paris” series that prompts us to take a look at the brand’s summer creations! Back for a third unpublished series, the series founded by the creator of “Sex and the city” takes us on a journey of Emily’s adventures in Paris, between sentimental doubts, a turbulent professional career and… always as sharp a dressing room!

In episode 6, the actress Lily Collins who plays Emily discovers Aix-en-Provence and its region as part of a business trip. For this escapade outside Paris, she is wearing a polka dot dress and vintage glasses as well as the famous “Yké” wicker basket from the Polène brand. This original and unique model combines natural wicker and full-grain calfskin to reinterpret the iconic summer basket. The leather envelops the wicker like a flower petal and elegantly signs this recognizable piece.

In another sequence, Emily continues to discover the region by inviting Gabriel to a starred restaurant. This moment together is full of ambiguities, between silences and games of seduction, Emily continues to keep the “Yké” wicker basket close to her.
