The website of the National Assembly is paralyzed by an attack on Monday March 27. The services of the institution confirm to franceinfo to do “faced with an excess of requests which paralyzes the site”.

The pro-Russian hacker group NoName057(16) claimed responsibility for this attack on Telegram in response to France’s support for Ukraine, the specialized site Numerama has spotted. Faithful to the rhetoric of the Kremlin, the latter evoke there the support of Paris to the “Ukrainian Neo-Nazis” and the “protests” against Emmanuel Macron in France.

“At this stage, we cannot confirm on our side that it is a Russian attack, but the services are working on an identification”, we are assured on the side of the Assembly.

In the middle of the afternoon on Monday, the site returned to a fixed page where it is indicated “504 portal expired” or “site currently under maintenance”. Only the website is affected, according to a parliamentary source for franceinfo. The common server is operating normally and parliamentary assistants have access to their emails and working documents.
