The weather shakes up the Francos

The impetuous weather got the better of a first outdoor concert Thursday evening at the Francos. The performance of pop-jazz singer Florence K, scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Silo Brasseur in Montreal, was canceled “due to rain and thunderstorms”.

For the rest of the programming, the festival team says “to follow the developments from minute to minute”. “Other news will follow for the rest of the evening depending on the evolution of weather conditions,” a statement read.

French artist Juliette Armanet, behind the disco-pop album Burn the fire, is scheduled to perform on the main stage at the stroke of 9 p.m. She is the only overseas singer to feature in a free main concert of these 33e Franks.
