After a semi-final full of surprises and especially suspense, the All Stars season of The Voice came to an end this Saturday, October 23, 2021. They were six Talents to fight for victory: Louis Delort in Patrick Fiori’s team, Amalya in that of Jenifer. Florent Pagny placed his hopes in Anne-Sila, Manon and MB14 while Mika could count on Terence james. Only Zazie found herself without any Talent in the final. A great first for a coach in the history of The Voice. Each candidate was able to sing twice, a solo song and another in duet with prestigious guests, namely Ed Sheeran, Clara Luciani, Nolwenn Leroy, Soprano, Amel Bent and Garou.
Much of the evening was recorded the day before, Friday. And for good reason, Mika could not be present live due to a concert scheduled several months ago at the Philharmonie de Paris. In order for him to attend the show anyway, it was decided to box the performances of the six candidates a little earlier. The public was nevertheless able to vote live and the results were announced live with a duplex Mika from his box at the Philharmonie.
TERENCE JAMES
Terence James can already be happy to have done better than his last appearance at The Voice where he was eliminated in the semifinals. Hopes for victory were then all possible. After making risky choices on difficult titles, he opted on Saturday night for Your song of Elton John after having had the opportunity to train at first a duet with international star Ed Sheeran on Bad Habits. When he went solo, he appeared in a kilt, this traditional Scottish garment from where he originated. An outfit that pushed Nikos Aliagas to put on … his Greek skirt! What aroused a great laughter on the set. More seriously, Mika said he was very proud of his colt’s great performance.
ANNE SILA
It’s hard to miss the Anne Sila phenomenon. From his first participation in The Voice in 2014, the young woman hit the mark with her haunting voice and her poetic personality. It was quite easily that she won her place in the final. She first shared the stage with Nolwenn Leroy to deliver a performance on When we only have love by Jacques Brel. Anne Sila then took on the challenge of singing alone on the difficult song Creep by Radiohead. A title that she knew how to appropriate and which really impressed the coaches.
MB14
MB14 has proven he can take risks. Throughout the competition, he revealed several facets of his personality, making his coach Florent Pagny proud. He launched a new demanding challenge for the final by performing the very technical and vocal piece. The Show Must Go On by Queen. No rap, no beatbox … just his voice. His performance was unanimous with the coaches, who rose from their chairs to applaud him. Florent Pagny underlined his mastery and increasingly recognizes him as a complete artist. MB14 is back on stage a second time with Soprano on the title of the latter Clown.
MANON
The youngest of the season has nothing envious of her opponents. After a shy start on the show, Manon created a surprise by climbing to the final. It must be said that, despite a certain lack of self-confidence, the young 18-year-old candidate has a quite breathtaking voice. She tried to convince the public by attacking the title No Time to Die by Billie Ellish, the music of the brand new James Bond. Just that ! Manon did very well and received deserved congratulations from Florent Pagny as well as from the other coaches, amazed by his confidence on stage. Manon later had the opportunity to demonstrate her talents once again. singing with Amel Bent on you are no longer here.
AMALYA
Amalya has something to make her coach Jenifer proud. The only Talent remaining on her team after the difficult cross-battles, the candidate managed to pass the semi-final stage with flying colors. For the final, she had the honor of pushing your voice alongside Clara Luciani. The two artists performed The grenade. She then launched the vocal challenge to cover alone the famous tube All By Myself of the great Celine Dion. His performance moved his coach to tears, who took advantage of his speech to announce leaving The Voice after ten years of adventure.
LOUIS DELORT
Louis Delort was hot in the semi-final. Drafted in extremis by the public, the candidate did not want to disappoint him on Saturday night. He first covered the favorite song of the French, namely Beautiful from the musical Notre Dame of Paris, in the company of his first Garou coach who at the time had taken him to the final in season 1. During their performance, Patrick Fiori could not help but join them. A wonderful way to come full circle. Louis subsequently pulled out all the stops by resuming Fix you of Coldplay, which he started on the piano. It was simply chills that went through the coaches and the public. Patrick Fiori was even moved to tears by the purity of his performance.
THE RESULTS OF THE VOTES
The Talent that received the most votes is … Anne Sila ! She won this first All Stars edition of The Voice. It is otherwise the fourth time that Florent Pagny accompanies a candidate until the victory of the show.
