After convincing the coaches to The Voice, Amel Bent, Florent Pagny, Marc Lavoine and Vianney during the blind auditions, a new competition begins for the Talents. Saturday April 2, 2022 took place the first battles of the season. In groups of two, the candidates competed on the same song. And all was not lost for the loser since the Stealing of Talents was possible! Each coach has the right to save a candidate. This year, there is also Nolwenn Leroy who entered the competition. The surprise coach had the opportunity to fish out four disappointed Talents at blind auditions to form two battles.

VIANNEY TEAM
Battle between Axel and Nyr
For his first battle, Vianney chose to pit the youngest of his team Axel against the dean Nyr for the title of Bruno Mars, Locked Out Of Heaven. Together, they showed a mad energy, all in synchronization and symbiosis. Each also had the opportunity to highlight their vocal signature. Battle between Paloma and Louise
Vianney opted for the title Too handsome of Lomepal for this new battle. A title not too appreciated by its candidates Louise and Paloma, who even showed themselves rather dissipated during rehearsals when they could not find their way around in the notes. Vianney, who was struggling to channel them, then had to reframe them so that they manage to form the incredible duo he imagined. The challenge was met with flying colors according to him and he could not have been more proud, running to hug them at the end of the performance. The choice was therefore very difficult for him. FLORENT PAGNY’S TEAM
Battle between Nour and Emilie
Two very young candidates fought over the rest of the adventure, Nour and Émilie. They sang on Clara Luciani’s song, The grenade. It was by videoconference that the coach had to prepare this battle with them since he was suffering from Covid-19. This did not prevent him from making a few remarks to his Talents, in particular so that there is more interaction between them and that their voices can be unraveled more easily. His advice paid off as on stage, Nour and Émilie delivered a perfect interpretation. Difficult for all to decide between them even if unanimously, they noted that the youth of Nour (16 years old) had made him a little lacking despite his great mastery. Battle between Maggy, Natalie and Jade
As he was a little greedy during the blind auditions by recruiting more Talents than he could, Florent Pagny had to deal with an odd team. It is therefore a three-way battle that he formed with Maggy, Natalie and Jade. Three divas who sang on the title of the diva Aretha Franklin, Think. From “top level” as said Florent Pagny. Impossible for the coach to decide between them in terms of technique, his choice then fell on the voice he liked the most, that is to say that of Jade. She go to the cross-battles.

Battle between Lisa and Doryan
Lisa has the tone of voice that has most affected Amel Bent this season. Despite a few small faults caused by stress during her casting, the singer could not miss her very pronounced vocal identity. Doryan, for his part, had an effect with his energy and his way of embodying the songs. They clashed over Save your tears from The Weeknd and have completely managed to manage their stress. “I’m super proud of you“, dropped Amel Bent. NOLWENN LEROY TEAM
Battle between Jean Palau and Kilian
It is inevitably with great emotion that Jean and Kilian have returned to the adventure after having failed the blind auditions. Thanks to Nolwenn Leroy, they got another chance to shine on the stage of The Voice and to take their revenge against the four other coaches who did not believe in them. Nolwenn made them sing on Sign of the times by Harry Styles. She was overwhelmed and had tears in her eyes. “You were really connected, all the harmonies were in place, it was beautiful, thank you very much“, she said before deciding to choose Jean Palau for the rest of the adventure. The candidate then had to join a new team and he decided to follow Florent Pagny for cross battles.
MARC LAVOINE’S TEAM
Battle between Jerome and Clement
Marc Lavoine proposed a rock battle between Jérôme and Clément, for whom he was the only one to turn around each time. There are two different personalities there, one with a bewitching voice and the other with a very particular vibration, a little hoarse. Not very confident of their talent, the two candidates struggle to relax during rehearsals and find their place. Once on stage, performing the title Stairway to Heaven of Led Zeppelin, they nevertheless managed to take all the coaches with them. Marc Lavoine decided by deciding to keep Clement. Battle between Jérôme, Jean and Jules
Having an odd team too, Marc Lavoine had to form a battle of three candidates. Jérôme, Jean and Jules had to sing on And now by Gilbert Becaud. This combination of their singular voices worked very well, creating a great moment of emotion so much so that Marc Lavoine’s tears welled up. He decided to keep jerome for the rest of the adventure.
