Focused on new technologies, the VivaTech show notably highlights artificial intelligence and a wheelchair allowing you to climb stairs.
Ever more futuristic innovations to augment reality, assist humans or even work alongside them. The VivaTech show welcomes the latest technological gems that want to revolutionize everyday life, such as a 2.0 wheelchair, which allows you to climb stairs thanks to an ingenious system. The wheels rise to make way for robotic belts which cross the obstacle. Going up and down stairs, a new hope for a 13 year old. This is the very first time that he will climb a staircase alone: “For places that don’t have an elevator, it can be very practical”. An investment of 43,000 euros that his mother says she is ready to think about.
The other stars of this edition, the robots animated by artificial intelligence. A prototype is designed to welcome the public or help caregivers. It is already being tested in certain hospitals. “The goal is for him to be able to grab objects, trays, cups, trolleys”explains Richard Malterre, communications director of Enchanted Tools.
