Once again, the happy father of five children wanted to shine in front of and behind the camera. In this new fiction, the director narrated the sentimental adventures of Tridan Lagache, who mainly lived in Mexico in a Club Med !
Dreamy and naive, he nevertheless decides to drop everything to find a woman called Violette, who was his childhood sweetheart. Neither one nor two, the hero then arrives in Paris to force fate. Lucky coincidence or not, Tridan Lagache meets his half-brother named Louis, played by Kad Merad, who will show him all the colors. Wanting to get rid of him, the latter calls on Roxane, an ex (played by Charlotte Gainsbourg). The young woman will pretend to be Violette… But nothing will go as planned!
“During a vacation at Club Med with my children, I spoke with the director. His parents had, as in the film, met at the Club, his mother had become pregnant and had continued to work with his father after his birth. In turn, he had continued in this direction… I immediately thought that it would be a good starting point for a screenplay”. wrote Dany Boon in the production notes as indicated “Point”.

The artist was also inspired by a personal anecdote to finalize his scenario: “During the filming of + La Ch’tite famille +, my mother arrived on set one day with my childhood sweetheart.
