The very present striped bass

Recently, I reported on the need to open the striped bass fishery in the St. Lawrence, very close to Quebec among others, because this species was literally invading the habitats of other fish present in the area. The Quebec Federation of Hunters and Fishermen has also asked fishermen to sign the petition which appears on its site fedecp.com. For the unbelievers who still doubt its presence everywhere in the river, here is the photo of professional guide Bruno Morency who fishes very often on the river and who told us that accidental captures were very numerous. He captured this striped bass near the Jacques-Cartier River. The federal government must allow sport fishing for this species.
