The Vauclusien Francis Perrin is invited to “the secret box” on France 3 this Friday.

The play “l’école des femmes” which was to be performed this Friday January 28 in Bollene at La Cigalière has been postponed to March 11.

It is one of Molière’s most famous comedies that resonates more than ever with current events.

Singular comedy and modern reflection on the emancipation of women mingle with multiple twists to culminate in the triumph of love.

I have the immense pleasure of playing this masterpiece with my wife Gersende, my daughter Clarisse and Louis, my autistic son

Right now, we celebrate the 400th anniversary of the birth of Molière, and this author has always accompanied Francis Perrin.

Francis Perrin lives with his family in Haut Vaucluse

He’s his friend Jean-Pierre Darras who was then the director of “Estivales” of Carpentras and who lived in Suzette, who introduced him to the region in the 90s. After playing many roles at the Théâtre de Vaison, the actor chose to settle there with his clan in 2017

I came to settle in the region with my family. We had decided to live in the Vaucluse for years and to find our friends. We left the Paris region to be quiet.

As a gourmet and gastronome, he does not miss the Soup Festival and the gourmet encounters in Vaison when he can…

I am someone who adores the pleasures of the table. I have good relations with winegrowers and great chefs. I love life! I am a gourmand and a gourmet (he has been inducted into several brotherhoods in France, including that of Vacqueyras)

He did not want to return to Parisian life in the Luberon, and therefore chose Haut Vaucluse to find his little nest.

What I liked here is that I am on the border of Drôme Provençale and Vaucluse, with the chance to have a view of Mont-Ventoux as far as Orange. This is exceptional. I’ve always been seduced by the climate and the friendliness of the people, and then there are friends settled in the region who encouraged me to come, like Alice Dona and Mimi Mathy. I wanted to breathe, to feel good.

Francis Perrin is one of the guests of the show “the secret box” by Faustine Bollaert on France 3 this Friday, January 28 at 9:10 p.m.
