In Mulhouse, in the Haut-Rhin, a bus, the Vacci’Mouv, was responsible for going to meet the most skeptical of vaccination against Covid-19 or those furthest from the vaccine. He was forced to stop his tour.

In Mulhouse (Haut-Rhin), the Vacci’Mouv carries out its last injections on Monday January 31. Among the fifty patients who came in the morning, some regret that this truck, which offers vaccines against Covid-19, is disappearing. He actually comes right next to them, and there is no need to make an appointment. “If it has to happen again, it’s true that I will come back without an appointment”says a resident.

The Vacci’Mouv stops after having traveled the roads of the Haut-Rhin for six months. This truck went into contact with the population to facilitate vaccination. The public is often very different from that encountered in vaccination centres. “The patients who come here are of different origin, of foreign origin. If necessary, we take the time with people”, Explain Karine Guyon, nurse. However, the Vacci’Mouv was not sufficient to make up for the backlog of vaccination in the Haut-Rhin. The department has one of the lowest rates in France, with 73.2%.
