The situation related to fuel supply difficulties remains under tension in the Côte-d’Or department. This Thursday, the prefecture counted, 24 service stations are completely out of fuel and 27 are partially out of fuel.
A seventh station offers a line reserved for priority services and professions
The system put in place on October 11 to avoid any disruption in the supply of fuel for essential services which contribute to the safety, relief and health of the inhabitants of the department, is working properly, according to the prefecture. These service stations, now 7 in number, and they are supervised by the national police and the national gendarmeriedistributed throughout the Côte-d’Or department and that priority users have been informed by their professional organizations or departments.
Jerricans prohibited
On the other hand, given the increase in cases of users filling jerrycans and other containers, the prefect today took an order prohibiting until October 19, 2022 inclusive, the sale, purchase, distribution and transport of fuels in any transportable container.
These provisions do not apply to professionals whose activity requires the use of tools that can only be refilled by transportable containers and when this filling is duly justified. All the departments of the Grand-Est and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regions are covered by such decrees.
