It’s a cardboard! Since its theatrical release on July 19, 2023, the film Barbieby Greta Gerwig, signs in France the best start of the year. Played by Margot Robbie, the cult Mattel doll plays the role of an incredible Ryan Gosling transformed into a larger-than-life flesh and plastic Ken. A feature film where we also notice the participation of Dua Lipa and Nicki Minaj. And the atmosphere is, at the moment, all purple with pink for the people, up to the famous “Red Carpet” which has become “Pink” for the actors of the film during the American preview. The opportunity for Cyril Féraud to call back on Twitter than his character of Cyril Gosbo in Fort Boyard, broadcast this Saturday, July 22, is straight inspired by the beautiful blonde’s boyfriend… As proof, this pretty box that he presents to us containing his effigy with an incredible Floridian look, “ultra-brite” smile and turquoise eyes. As a promotional banner, a “Seen on TV” referring to old advertisements… And above all, as a humorous comment: “There are the copies, and there is… the original!” he writes alongside a “lol” emoticon.

A good dose of self-mockery
Cyril Féraud immersed in the world of Fort Boyard Since he was very young, it is this show that made him want to do television! And, since 2020, he embodies the character of Cyril Gossbo, one of the craziest! An unbearable being inspired indeed by the Ken doll who has fun playing on the nerves of the candidates, with a lot of tics and tocks worthy of the animators of the 1980s! And it took a good dose of self-mockery to the presenter of Slam to assume to embody this caricature with an impeccable physique. And courage too: each day of filming, it takes him about 1h40 of make-up to obtain the physique of a doll’s skin, with plastic reflections, to have a hollowed effect on the nose and cheeks, using in particular an air brush (a gun projecting make-up). Not to mention the turquoise lenses and a retro-punky wig!

A life-size copy of her favorite animator’s doll
The genesis of the creation of this character? The story goes that Father Fouras, a big fan of TV games, never misses any of Cyril Gossbo’s shows, in particular Slaimeon Strong3. A real quiz with desks and absurd questions for the candidates. In case of wrong answers, beware of punishments! The slime shower remaining his favorite, of course. However, one Christmas evening, Father Fouras discovers a life-size copy of his favorite animator’s doll under his tree. Since then, the latter officiates with him on Fort Boyard! A time deemed too annoying, the latter had to be put away… But fortunately back this summer for new adventures where it is completely connected with cinematographic news!
