These are extremely violent winds, very localized and which destroy everything in their path. Each year, tornadoes kill between 300 and 400 people, half of them in the United States. This phenomenon occurs during thunderstorms, when a mass of cold air wraps around hot ascending winds, causing eddies of up to 500 km / h. But unlike hurricanes, it is complicated to measure the impact of global warming on tornadoes.
While it is difficult to know if there are more tornadoes, we are seeing a lot more. Tornado hunters have better equipment to detect them, track them down and then film them. The spectacular images are massively relayed on social networks. American television broadcasts focus on these phenomena and put in place important means to capture these images which fascinate.
