A consequence envelope. The United States will provide aid of more than $1.5 billion for the energy sector, humanitarian assistance and civil security in Ukraine, announced American Vice President Kamala Harris during the peace summit organized in Switzerland, Saturday June 15.

This envelope notably includes $500 million in new funds for energy assistance, as well as $324 million in aid already announced by USAID (the American development agency) which will be redirected to meet urgent energy needs. from kyiv, detailed Kamala Harris during the peace summit in Burgenstock.

The new aid package also includes $379 million for humanitarian assistance, as well as an additional $300 million for Ukrainian civil security from the State Department with support from Congress.
