It wasn’t much better. The boxes, the labels are important for the knowledge of an individual. In society, you are stuck at every moment: you are white, black, immigrant, Catholic, Muslim, you have such a blood group, you have such a circumference of your chest, such a size of clothes, such a size of shoes… If you think about it carefully, we put everyone in boxes, and even in several boxes at the same time. Some are necessary – let’s say they are there to help – while others are there to stigmatize.
