Finally the uncertainty is lifted concerning PSG full-back Nuno Mendes, before the semi-final first leg of the Champions League on Wednesday May 1 against Borussia Dortmund, the Sports management of Radio France learned this Tuesday from sources close to the club. The latest feedback is positive and he will be able to hold his place if Luis Enrique calls on him.
A little earlier, again from sources close to the club, he had been presented as doubtful because the 21-year-old left-back had not taken part in the striking exercises during the last training session and he was not in the group this Saturday during the draw against Le Havre (3-3) in Ligue 1. But everything seems to be back to normal since then because he can be lined up.
Returning from a serious injury to a thigh tendon which had kept him away from the field for eight months, the Portuguese returned in February. Furthermore, Parisian coach Luis Enrique will be able to rely on the rest of the team which won on Barça’s pitch (4-1) in the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League.
