The UN Headquarters houses a fabulous collection of works of art

The United Nations Headquarters in New York is home to a number of works of art that are little known to the general public.

Without being a museum, the building has amassed a fabulous collection in nearly eight decades.

Many paintings (including Marc Chagall and Fernand Léger), sculptures (Henry Moore), frescoes and stained glass windows welcome the dignitaries during their visits.

We have an art collection that would be the envy of many museums around the world. And we are not a museum.
