In France, the two men suspected of the murder of Mireille Knoll continue to accuse each other. The trial opened on Tuesday, October 26, before the Paris Assize Court.
The face-to-face with the two alleged murderers of Mireille Knoll, his mother, Daniel Knoll waited for more than three years. “They don’t want to repent, they don’t feel anything, they’re monsters. In the accused’s box, the two individuals are Yacine Mihoub, son of a neighbor, and Alex Carrimbacus, a friend of the latter.
On March 23, 2018, Mireille Knoll’s body was discovered at her home, charred and marked by eleven stabbing marks. The two offenders, repeated offenders, were then arrested by the police. During the hearing, Yacine Mihoub would have admitted having participated in the apartment fire, but he refutes the murder and the theft. “He is in the position of someone who protests his innocence at the start of this affair, he has never varied in his statements.“, reports Me Charles Consigny, lawyer for Yacine Mihoub.
