The two investigating judges in charge of the Jubillar case remain seized of the case, reported Thursday April 25 France Bleu Occitanie. The Toulouse Court of Appeal rejects the request from Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers who wanted their challenge.

According to the lawyers, the two judges were not impartial in the case. They therefore requested that they be relinquished. A request made when the judges had just requested the referral of Cédric Jubillar to the Tarn Assize Court to be tried there.

Delphine Jubillar, a 33-year-old nurse and mother of two children, disappeared in Tarn on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020. Her body has not been found. Her husband, Cédric Jubillar, is suspected of having killed her. Aged 37, he has been in pre-trial detention at the Seysses remand center, near Toulouse, since June 2021. The couple was in the process of divorcing. In this case, Cédric Jubillar is to date the only person accused. The date of his trial is not yet known.
