Monday September 25 begins the trial of Mohamed Lamine Aberouz, potential accomplice in the murder of the couple of police officers killed in 2016 in Magnanville (Yvelines). He faces life imprisonment.
The feare June 13, 2016. A couple of police officers were murdered at their home in Magnanville (Yvelines) by a terrorist. That day, Jessica Schneider, secretary at the Mantes-la-Jolie police station (Yvelines), returns with his three-year-old son to their house in Magnanville. A man is waiting for him, he slits his throat in the living room. His companion, Jean-Baptiste Salvaing, police commander at the Mureaux police station (Yvelines), still working. When he returned home, he was stabbed ten times by the assailant.
Opening of the trial
The man retreats into their home and takes their child hostage. THE RAid is on site. The attacker claims to be from the Islamic State. This is Larossi Abballa, a 25-year-old petty criminal who lives in Mantes-la-Jolie (Yvelines). Surrounded by the police, he films himself live on Facebook, claiming responsibility for the double assassination. The assault is given. He is killed and the couple’s child saved. But a potential accomplice, Mohamed Lamine Aberouz, whose DNA was found at the scene, will be tried from this Monday, September 25. He faces life imprisonment.
