Panier Bleu, which was initially an NPO, becomes a private company benefiting from the financial participation of Desjardins, Investissement Québec, the Fonds de solidarité FTQ and Lightspeed.

“We will not close Amazon tomorrow and we are aware of it”, however admitted the general manager of the Blue Basket, Alain Dumais, also on the spot during the announcement. According to him, the platform is becoming an alternative for consumers who want to encourage local merchants.
