With the war in Ukraine, the training of French soldiers has evolved. The soldiers from the infantry school in Draguignan (Var) know that one day, perhaps, they could be sent to Ukraine. The trenches are one of the great lessons of the Ukrainian conflict. A trench was dug in 2023 on land in the south of France. Carpet on the floor, the students are 18 to 24 years old.
