The 3rd edition of the Forum Métiers Emploi Travail Thursday, November 24, aims to discover the professions offered within the companies of Périgord Vert and to exchange with the companies in particular for possible research of internships. Free entry and open to all !
The Trades Employment Work Forum will take place on Thursday November 24 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the René Forestier gymnasium in Thiviers.
This free event aims to introduce:
- to young people, educated or not, the various professions and internship offers offered within the companies of Périgord Vert,
- to people looking for jobs, the job offers and internships to be filled within these same establishments.
Participating schools allow their young people to discover the profession(s) of local companies in a fun way thanks to demonstrations, tests, professional gestures, virtual reality headsets, simulators, etc. But also exchange with companies in particular for possible internship searches.
Job seekers can:
- discover trades and training for a possible reorientation
- exchange directly with companies to discuss their job and/or internship offers
- benefit from advice for their job search
Professionals take advantage of this event to:
- introduce job seekers and young people thinking about their professional future to the existing profession(s) in their companies
The professionals present are representatives of local businesses, public and semi-public establishments from various sectors of activity. They will present their professions:
- to job seekers
- people looking for an internship or apprenticeship contract
- to young people followed and accompanied by the Local Mission Haut Périgord
- to young people from the following schools: Professional High Schools of Coulaures and Thiviers, General High Schools of Excideuil and Nontron, colleges of Excideuil, Lanouaille, La Coquille, Thiviers, Brantôme, Nontron, Piègut Pluviers, MFR du Périgord Vert… as well than young people outside the school system accompanied by the Local Mission of Haut Périgord.
