(Toronto) The Toronto Starone of Canada’s largest daily newspapers, announced on Wednesday that it has chosen a new president and chief executive officer.

Marina Glogovac will occupy the highest management position of the newspaper from 1er June.
Mme Glogovac, currently President and CEO of finance company CanadaHelps, has experience in e-commerce, technology and media, including at St. Joseph’s Media and its flagship magazine “Toronto Life” as well as the NOW Magazine.
She will replace Lorenzo DeMarchi, who held the position on an interim basis, and will return to his previous position as Chief Investment Officer for Torstar, the parent company of the Toronto Star.
Paul Rivett and Jordan Bitove, co-owners of Torstar, pointed out that Mr.me Glogovac with new media, technological knowledge and experience with digital subscriptions placed her favorably for the “reinventing adventure” of the “Toronto Star” and its upcoming move to new offices.
Meanwhile, Torstar has announced that it has promoted Neil Oliver, Torstar’s current chief operating officer, to president and chief executive officer of Metroland Media.
