The Tinder Scammer: Simon Leviev in turn scammed on social networks

If you’re looking for Simon Leviev on social networks, you might as well warn yourself: you’re going to have a hard time finding the right one. Since the crazy success of the documentary The Tinder ScammerThe Tinder Swindler -, available on Netflix since February 2, 2022, the young Israeli has met with both success and controversy. Many fake accounts flourish in his name, especially on Instagram, and they all jump one after the other, whether they are true or not, since “the enemies” of Simon report his photos in order to silence him forever.

His face became too well known and he was permanently banned from the Tinder dating app. Suffice to say that Simon Leviev has lost his main source of income: extracting astronomical sums from innocent young women by seducing them and then inventing incredible misadventures, forcing them to take out bank loans. It is for all these excellent reasons that Monsieur wanted to have his Instagram account certified… and that he, in turn, was the victim of a dark scam.

According to US media sources TMZ, an account had actually promised Simon Leviev to get him the famous blue dot, on Instagram, in exchange for 6000 dollars – the equivalent of 5460 €. This anonymous person had pretended to be an employee of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg’s company which owns Facebook, among other things… which was totally false. Of course, this sum seems ridiculous compared to the millions that Simon Leviev has cheated, and the money he asks for mere nightclub appearances or to autograph video messages to his fans. Let’s hope he signed the check with his own hand this time…
