Finally, there is Marie-Pierre Leduc. Dare I say. What the first album — My worldpublished in 2017 following participation in The voice — wanted to do too well, the second does it: we now have the right portrait. Refinement in the form, nuances in the interpretation: schooling finished, the moment to distinguish oneself has finally arrived. At last, it is the title of the song which opens the album. The whole disc thus moves forward at a good pace, carrying a vigorous and determined pop, where each title adds to a just claim of existence: Tell me, I will walk, Our history, milestones of a path finally marked out. It will not have been easy, neither for her nor for her companion Michel Roy (director, arranger), to get out of the circuit of regional rock bars (where she excelled): that’s it. Finally, freed singer.
