Since this Friday, February 23, 2024, Netflix has been offering subscribers to its platform season 6 of the documentary “Formula 1: Drive to Survive”. This series produced in collaboration between Netflix and the Formula One Group offers us a rare glimpse behind the scenes of Formula 1 competitions. We discover the recruitment methods of the different teams but also and above all the journey and daily life of the riders.
To the cast of season 6, Esteban Ocon, a 27-year-old French pilot which defends the colors of the Alpine team (ex-Renault). We then discover that his direct competitor is none other than Pierre Gasly, a pilot who, like him, is from Normandy! Regarding the private life of Esteban Ocon, know that the pilot is in a relationship with Flavy Barla, a pretty blonde who… participated in the Miss France 2023 election ! At the time, the 21-year-old young woman had in fact represented the Côte d’Azur region and had then managed to climb to the top of the rankings since she was elected fifth runner-up in the competition which was won by Indira Ampiot.
During the competition, we learned that Flavy Barla is studying medicine, she is passionate about dance. “The more I do, the happier I am. In fact, I am never satisfied with learning, knowing things and meeting people” she confided in the columns of the newspaper 20 Minutes to explain that she leads a life at a hundred miles an hour.

If Esteban Ocon reveals himself like never before in the documentary “Formula 1: Drive to Survive”, his darling Flavy, however, does not make any appearances. The simple reason: the lovers were not yet a couple at the time of filming. It was also on December 18, 2023 that the former beauty queen and the pilot made their love story official posing together on the red carpet of the FFSA Motor Sport Trophies in Paris.
Since this date, they also no longer hesitate to appear together on social networks and proof that their relationship is serious, the pretty blonde was seen in a photo alongside the parents of the famous car racer.
