The Minister of Health Olivier Véran announced this Saturday morning on France Inter that the government will “strengthen the vaccination obligation of caregivers and firefighters by integrating the third dose from January 30“2022.
He asserted that there is “several Omicron variant hospital clusters, particularly in the Paris region” and “we do not want, as in Scotland, that we have 25 to 30% of caregivers who could not work because they would all be contacts and therefore in quarantine“.

“We are strengthening our system with the same consistency as that which we have been monitoring for several months“, assumes the minister, who also supports the transformation of the health pass into a vaccination pass which will be submitted to parliamentarians next January as well.
