While the first foundations of offshore wind turbines are awaited in the bay of Saint-Brieuc, a gigantic ship of 198 meters long arrived in the area this Thursday, June 30, 2022. The Saipem 7000, the third largest crane ship in the world, should not go unnoticed.

Several other vessels mobilized as part of the wind farm site have arrived in the bay in recent days, proof that the site is accelerating.

The electrical substation, the centerpiece of the wind farm, loaded onto a barge is ready to sail in Belgium. She will arrive during the summer in the bay.

Ailes Marines, the project leader, has planned to deliver the wind farm at the end of 2023.
