“That the arrival in Ligue 1 does not lead to an increase in prices”, this is the mantra of the management of the Toulouse Football Club, less than a month from the start of the season. The Managing Director, Marketing and Communications Director and newly appointed COO met via Twitter chat. They put forward ^several promising numbers for the season.

The general manager of the TFC announced it straight away: despite the inflation and the problems of purchasing power that many Toulouse residents are going through, the club tried to minimize the price increasewith the return to Ligue 1.“We are at the very bottom of the price range” notably replied Olivier Jaubert to a fan who questioned him on the subject. With this pricing policy “adapted”, “We want to say thank you to everyone who was present”ends the general manager.
A subscription record
The TFC welcomes the 8,000 subscriptions already sold, one month before the start of the season. This is double compared to the previous season. Moreover, 95% of previous subscribers have renewed their membership, but two-thirds are new subscribers.
Of these subscriptions, more than 3,000 were taken in the mythical Brice Taton turn. The club is also pleased that 1,600 supporters have chosen the Christophe Revault bend, including in the family stand.
A pricing and ticketing strategy for supporters
“We want, whatever the match, for the stadium to be for the TFC”, says management. Even for large posters, the club wants to give priority to ticket sales to Tef fans: a subscriber could buy up to four seats for his relatives.
The goal being that the Stadium vibrates for the Violets and not for the opposing team. “Those who want to see Paris-Saint Germain or Olympique de Marseille play first, they will be able to, but only if there are places left” even launches the staff.
In December, a gala match with an as yet unknown opponent
On July 30, a gala match was to be held to celebrate the return to Ligue 1 but the Toulouse Football Club was planted by its opponent: Dynamo kyiv.
The club still wants to honor its promise made to Violets supporters, before the launch of the subscription campaign. The time to find this future adversary, this gala match cannot take place before the end of the year.
