This protected space will be able to accommodate several thousand people who will be able to benefit from the support of several feminist associations helping victims such as “En avant toutes”, “Elles imaginent” and the Paris Center for Information on the Rights of Women and Families (CIDFF).

During the Olympic Games, "safe place" will be deployed from July 14 to September 8 in several districts of Paris for victims of sexual or gender-based violence. (PARIS CITY HALL)

“This allows victims not to be alone in facing what happened and also allows us to send a signal to the whole world, to say “Here we do not tolerate these facts”, explains Louise Delavier, senior program director in charge of field actions for the association “En avant toutes”.

Several other “safe places” will be deployed in the various district town halls during the Games.
