The Tennis Club de Bordes ready for its annual tournament

Through the life of a club, it is easy to see how sport generates a certain number of virtues: transmission, sharing, solidarity, training, learning discipline and some of the fundamental rules for living in society. All this can be found at the Tennis Club de Bordes. Created in 1999 with 39 members, it now has more than 160. With 5 clay courts and Greenset courts, including a covered one called Jérémy Chardy, TC Bordes has returned to its pre-covid level of activity.

And like every year at this time, he is preparing his annual tournament. Which starts on Saturday June 4 for 3 weeks. It brings together more than three hundred participants for 280 matches. This requires a minimum of organization and mobilizes a certain number of people. President Jacques Dovis and ex-president, Jérôme Libotte, tell us about the event and talk about the life of a club which aims above all to be a place of exchange and sharing through competition.
