The high mass of techno, the Teknival festival, continues in Indre. The number of participants could increase to 30,000 this Saturday, May 20. “The night passed in a good-natured atmosphere. Thousands of festival-goers continued to flock from all over France and all over Europe”, reports journalist Thomas Cuny, live from Villegongis (Indre). For now, 23,000 revelers are present on the site.
Four festival-goers in absolute urgency
“For the moment, no overflow is to be reported. It must be said that the security system is important with nearly 300 gendarmes mobilized and a helicopter which regularly flies over the area”, notes the journalist. But firefighters and civil security have already had to intervene 207 times to rescue people, four would be in absolute emergency who were evacuated to the Châteauroux University Hospital a few kilometers away.
