The 109th edition of the Tour de France starts Friday from Copenhagen in Denmark for three weeks, until July 24. Unlike the previous edition, which had 23 teams on an exceptional basis, the Tour returns to an edition with 22 teams.
In Copenhagen, six French teams will be at the start on July 1st. AG2R Citroën, Arkea-Samsic, Cofidis and Groupama-FDJ are automatically qualified. As for the two invitations, the organizers of the Tour de France have chosen stability. They went to B&B Hôtels by Jérôme Pineau and TotalEnergies by Jean-René Bernaudeau.
This year, 32 French riders are involved in the competition.
We take stock of the 22 teams involved on this Grande Boucle and the 176 runners who will be at the start.
