The third line of the French XV returned on Sunday to the Tournoi des Bleus and his role as captain in Stage 2.
The day after the victory of the French XV against England on the final day of the Six Nations Tournament, Grégory Alldritt was on the show Stade 2, Sunday March 17. The third row of La Rochelle, who already wears the captain’s armband in his club, inherited it during this Tournament in the absence of Antoine Dupont, who left with the French sevens rugby team for the Olympic Games .
The 26-year-old, who sees “a sacred honor and a sacred pride” to wear the armband in Blue, returned to the difficult situation experienced by the French at the start of the Tournament, before recovering after having come close to being penalized against Italy. “We were manhandled, criticized and that was normal given the performances, but the team showed a lot of character, we managed to fight and improve every weekend”explained Grégory Alldritt.
