The teacher who impregnated one of his students in the late 90s was suspended by his school service center (CSS). Education Minister Bernard Drainville has launched an administrative investigation to shed light on the situation.

The CSS du Chemin-du-Roy indicated that it had made this decision because of “new elements [ayant été] brought to his attention”, without wanting to specify which ones.
Our Bureau of Investigation revealed a week ago that a teacher who impregnated a 16-year-old student in addition to initiating an intimate relationship with another teenager could still teach.
Until last week, the School Services Center maintained that it had “no reason” to take action against its teacher, despite the holding of an internal investigation.
“No information allows us to take any action against this employee,” said Anne-Marie Bellerose, spokesperson for the CSS.
