He admits the rape, but not the murder of the little girl.
The suspect faces life imprisonment
It was in an abandoned bar in Sedan that the police discovered the body. An autopsy carried out Friday morning was able to establish the causes of death. “It was confirmed that she had been hit numerous times in the face, the blows resulting in death, and also that she had been raped in particularly difficult circumstances“, indicated François Schneider, public prosecutor of Reims (Marne). The suspect now risks the heaviest sentence provided for by the code criminal: life imprisonment with a maximum security sentence of 30 years.
