The Superior Court authorizes the injunction requested by UQAM and imposes limits on the pro-Palestinian encampment on campus

The injunction requested by the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) was granted in part: the Superior Court issued a series of orders which will limit what can be done in the encampment in support of Palestine which has installed on its campus.

UQAM was not asking that the camp be dismantled. Rather, she wanted it to be clearly circumscribed and securely supervised.

The Court ruled in favor of several of his requests.

She therefore ordered the demonstrators to clear a two-meter corridor around all the buildings in the interior courtyard of the Science Complex and to clear anything that obstructs the doors and windows of the buildings.

They will also have to remove any equipment that blocks exterior cameras from buildings.

More details will follow.
