Day 2: the summary of Scotland – France (2024)
.
(France TV)
Imprecise offensively but diligent in defense, Romane Ménager’s Bleues defeated a valiant Scottish team (15-5), not without difficulty, on Saturday in Edinburgh.
A victory, but a lot of questions. In difficulty in the game and trailing by the score for almost 30 minutes, the Blues did not reassure, Saturday April 30, during their second match of the Six Nations Tournament. But they got through it thanks to their conquest in melee and their self-sacrifice. The Chardon XV, however, struck first, finding the keys to a closed match after a carried ball which sent Elis Martin into the goal (3-5, 36th).
The Blues did not let their lack of success get them down, and relentlessly attacked the Scottish defense line to find the fault twice. At the end of the line first, by Kelly Arbey (8-5, 53rd), then at the very end of the match by Emeline Gros (80th+1), a try which deprives Scotland of the defensive bonus. Les Bleues (9 points) are second in this 2024 Tournament behind England (10 points), who largely dominated Wales (46-10).
