In the final match of this Six Nations Tournament on Saturday, Scotland won by a wide margin (36-10) against Ireland.
The dynamics have been reversed, between Scottish women on the upward slope, professional players for almost a season and Irish women in reconstruction, who have only tasted professionalism since the start of the year. By winning (36-10) against Ireland, Saturday April 29, Scotland, last of the 2022 Tournament, nailed the XV of Clover in the place which was his last year. Last, without the slightest victory, the Irish even leave the 2023 edition with the wooden spoon.
Largely dominating during the first act where only a penalty from Dannah O’Brien (5th) validated their efforts, the Irish were gradually overtaken by the density of the Scottish pack. A launch pad perfectly exploited on most Scottish tries (6 in total), and in particular the very first, that of the revolt: signed by the three-quarter center Meryl Smith after a carried ball (40th + 1, 10-3 ).
