Nantes beat Monegasques on penalties (2-2, 4 tab to 2) to make it to the final.

They had been waiting for him for 22 years. Here are the Nantes qualified in the final after their victory on penalties against AS Monaco in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France. Thanks to Moses Simon’s last converted penalty, the Canaries made La Beaujoire supporters explode with joy as they invaded the lawn to celebrate their heroes.

Before that, Antoine Kombouaré’s players had to fight fiercely against Wissam Ben Yedder’s teammates. The Rocher team opened the scoring with a header from Maripan in the 12th minute. Nine minutes later, on an overflow from Randal Kolo Muani, Djibril Sidibé trapped his own goalkeeper.

In the less intense second act, Samuel Moutoussamy unblocked the situation and put Nantes in front of the score. It was without counting on Myron Boadu who, barely two minutes later, equalized for the Red and Whites. The meeting was therefore decided on penalties, a session during which the two French internationals of ASM, Wissam Ben Yedder and Aurélien Tchouaméni, missed their penalty.
