the “Suits” series will have a sequel but will it be part of it?

She left the British royal family by slamming the door, 4 years ago now. And Meghan Markle now lives the life of a socialite, in Los Angeles, with her husband, Prince Harry and their children, Archie and Lilibet. An actress by profession, she left her profession before formalizing her engagement to the grandson of Elizabeth II. But while the series that made her a star, “Suits”, is about to return to television, will Meghan Markle be there?

Suits arrives in Los Angeles

According to Variety, after the spin-off “Pearson”in 2019, which followed the character of Jessica in Chicago, who left to pursue a political career, “Suits: LA, understand Los Angeles, is in preparation. Indeed, the pilot would have been ordered by NBCUniversal. And production should start at the end of March in Vancouver, where the episodes supposed to take place in New York were already filmed during the time of Meghan Markle.

In this new plot, we will follow Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, who reinvented himself by representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. Early drafts report this story: “His business is at a crisis point and, to survive, he must assume a role he has held with contempt throughout his career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to Ted and each other as they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is happening as the events of years ago slowly unravel, leading to Ted leaving everything and everyone he loved behind.”

Who will be there?

For the moment, no actor names have been communicated but fans would be touched to find their favorites Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Rick Hoffman, or even Sarah Rafferty, making appearances, who knows, even in their own roles therefore as clients, since some live in Los Angeles. Meghan Markle would be the icing on the cake.

F.A.
