The song “Let’s carry the flame”, whose lyrics were partly written by students from a school in Colombes, in Hauts-de-Seine, is enjoying great success in the run-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. is particularly used in the hospital environment.

A heady chorus, a simple choreography, two videos seen 500,000 times on the networks: the inhabitants of Colombes (Hauts-de-Seine) have their anthem for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The lyrics were partly written in a school of the city. “It means that the important thing is to participate”, indicates a student. The project thrilled the schools of Colombes before taking off elsewhere in the country.

“We receive lots of videos and testimonials from teachers who have taken up the song, who learn it in their schools. This shows that there is a universal potential of this song, a message that speaks to everybody”, indicates Peggy Rolland, author of the title entitled “Let’s carry the flame”. The contagion has spread to the hospital, the nursing home and municipal agents, but everyone can send their little personal video.
