Collective work spaces are increasingly attractive to the French. From young self-employed people to multinationals, co-working is popular for different reasons.

With the democratization of teleworking, driven by Covid, the French are increasingly choosing to work in co-working spaces. In Paris, a 13,000 m2 address has just opened its doors and offers offices that can be rented by the day, month or year. William Montagu, a young entrepreneur, was convinced and paid a flat rate of 300 euros per month. “As we have a team that is quite dispersed across France (…), I can take offices for 2-3 months for a colleague in Bordeaux, say, in Lille or in Paris if I want.“, he explains.

Companies are getting started

These collective work spaces can also be rented by companies which set up there for varying periods of time. A saving compared to a traditional lease. Renting co-working offices also allows more flexibility. “We had very classic offices, each in their own position. (…), indicates Frédéric Blain, product manager at Qorvo. What is impressive is the notion of freedom in the end.”
