The students of the Etienne-Jean Lapassat college in Romans sign a pro choreography!

“I wasn’t sure we’d get there, it was ambitious” smiles Sandra Parisi, visual arts teacher at Etienne-Jean Lapassat college in Romans-sur-Isère. The 600 students of the establishment all participated in the creation of a choreographydirectly inspired by the work of the dancer and choreographer Sadeck Waff, spotted on the show La France has an incredible talent. The video was presented this June 21, the day of the Fête de la Musique. It rewards a year’s work. “In plastic arts as in music, we see all the students of the college” says Anne-Charlotte Dehaye, music teacher, “Since the beginning of the year, at each end of class, we took ten minutes / a quarter of an hour to repeat a movement, one after the other, gradually”.

“It’s very technical” continues the teacher. The 600 students learned the movements of the choreography in a synchronized way. A great exercise, which required a dress rehearsal organized with the sixth grade classes, then about twenty takes. “I am proud of the end result, of the work accomplished”.
