You’ll have to be lucky to attend a screening of the film “Golden Hands”. Indeed, Isabelle Mergault’s film is released this Wednesday, June 7 in theaters. In this feature film, the actress and director called on Josiane Balasko, Lambert Wilson, or even Sylvie Testud. A film that tells the story of an encounter between a famous writer and a bonesetter. “She sees this guy coming to her house who is quite pretentious. […] She will teach him to live”explains Josiane Balasko as relayed by our colleagues from France Infowho plays the role of a healer.
Lambert Wilson, meanwhile, lends his features to the writer. An artist who does not lack success but who cannot enjoy it because of chronic back pain. And yet, his doctor wife does everything to treat him and remove this evil. It will finally be Josiane Balasko (Martha in the film: editor’s note) who will succeed in treating him with her hands. A comedy that isn’t really a comedy. Indeed, in this film, Isabelle Mergault adds a touch of experience as noted by our colleagues. She also had recourse to a healer to treat a painful knee.

The Destination Ciné Twitter account has just revealed that the production of the film had cost 6 million euros. And despite the large sum, only two cinemas broadcast the project of the actress and director: “Produced for 6M€, “Des Mains en Or” was released in… 2 cinemas in Paris (UGC Les Halles and Gaumont Aquaboulevard) The capital has 75 cinemas!”
Despite the small number of cinemas showing it “Golden Hands” would still have managed to attract 144 Parisian spectators at 2 p.m. A performance to be commended!
