After several months of family heartbreak, a court decision ordered, Thursday April 4, the placement under reinforced curatorship of Alain Delon. The sacred monster of cinema, aged 88, was already placed under judicial protection.
A huge cinema star loses, a little more, his autonomy. Alain Delon, weakened by illness, will now have to obtain the agreement of his trustee, a person outside the family, to manage his income, his property, and each of his acquisitions. Reinforced curatorship is the final stage before being placed under guardianship. “He can perhaps go to the supermarket and pay with his credit card, but he will no longer be able to sell his real estate or manage his portfolio”explains Ms. Magali Gibert, lawyer in family property law.
No questioning of the will
His trustee will not only be in charge of his finances, he will also have a big role to play in the star’s medical choices, already closely monitored in this area since January. His heirs, in conflict for months, no longer have any weight in this decision. His daughter Anouchka Delon, through her lawyer, denounces an excessive measure. Being placed under curatorship does not call into question the will of the cinema icon. We do not yet know whether Alain Delon will appeal this decision.
