The evening of this Saturday, November 4, 2023 was marked by the return of the star Academy on TF1. But on France 2, viewers were also offered a TV film called Death on the tracka sort of thriller that takes place on the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit. Fans of the 1990s series Beverly Hills 90210were able to find one of the stars of the program, actor Jason Priestley.
Now aged 54, the Canadian actor has indeed slipped into the shoes of Ryan Martin, an inspector from the Los Angeles Police Department for the purposes of this TV movie. He thus teamed up with Captain Sabrina Nejard, played by Éléonore Bernheim, to investigate the discovery of a corpse on the circuit. The young woman will therefore be helped by this inspector with unconventional methods, who has come to lend a hand to his French colleagues.
A role that immediately appealed to the famous actor who was a race car driver after his role as Brandon in Beverly Hills 90210. “Having been a driver alongside my acting career, Le Mans is a cult city for me. Unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to race there, but its circuit is known throughout the world. Great films like Le Mans 66 which were filmed there, ours will be one of them!” he confided in the columns of the magazine Tele-Leisure.
